It should not be a novelty for anybody that Apple do not specialize in data storage technology in Cloud.
Over time, Apple has used partnerships with Microsoft (Microsoft Azure) and Amazon (S3) to store some of the user data iCloud. This information was made public each time in iOS Security Guide.

Apple recently confirmed that Google Cloud Platform is one of the third parties that will be stored encrypted part of the accounts data iCloud. However, he mentions that these cloud"auxiliary" data will not be stored user identification.
In the latest iOS update Security Guide, data storage service in cloud Microsoft Azure has been replaced by Google Cloud Platform. We do not know the exact reasons, but we know that Google is working very intensively on the development of this service.

Data from iCloud of users, such as: have contacted, documents, agenda / calendare, photos and other information, are stored encrypted AES-128 and SHA-256 in Google Cloud Platform.

Apple give assurances that this change of "storage provider ”will not influence the experience in any way iCloud of users.

We know very well that in fact, Apple deals with the development of iOS and with the part of ideas for innovation and development. Most of the services offered by Apple they come through third parties. Including iPhone, iPad, Mac and others, have components produced by companies. IPS devices from Samsung and sometimes even from LG, camera sensors from SONY… and so on.

I am happy to share my experiences in the field of computers, mobile phones and operating systems, to develop web projects and to bring the most useful tutorials and advice. I like to "play" on the iPhone, MacBook Pro, iPad, AirPort Extreme and on operating systems macOS, iOS, Android and Windows.
