Facebook is currently the largest social network in the world. On Facebook we find various profiles / people, from close friends and relatives, to worldly celebrities and presidents of states.
For each mobile operating system there is a version of the Facebook application, which is constantly updated, and which brings improvements and news almost every month. Most Facebook users have the official application installed on their smartphone. Let's talk here about Windows Phone, Android or iOS. There is still a non-negligible number of users who access Facebook from the internet browser of their mobile phone. Opera, Chrome, Firefox or Safari are the most downloaded and used mobile browsers, from which Facebook is accessed.
iOS users (iPhone / iPad) mostly use the internet browser Safari to browse websites or for Facebook. This requires clicking on the icon Safari, then type "facebook.com" in the URL Address bar.
A simpler and faster method is to we add one shortcut of the Facebook profile or facebook.com directly on Home ScreeniPhone or iPad.
How do we add a shortcut of a Facebook profile or page on iPhone or iPad Home Screen
1. We open the browser Safari and access the Facebook profile or page for which we want to create shortcut on Home Screen, then click on the icon with the square and the up arrow, from the bottom of the screen. 
2. In the menu that opens, click on "Add to Home Screen"
3. The next option gives us the possibility to edit the URL (this is not necessary), and to edit the name shortcutwhich will appear on Home Screen under the icon.
At the end, after editing the name, click "Add" on the top right, and the icon for quick access to the page or Facebook profile, will be added on Home Screen.
icon shortcutis almost identical to that of the Facebook application for iPhone and iPad, so it is better not to call it this shortcut "Facebook". There is a risk of confusing them. 🙂
Once this is created shortcut, you can open the Facebook profile in Safari, with a single touch.
