Shortly after the release of the final version of iOS 12.1 to the general public, Apple makes the Beta version of iOS 12.1.1 available to developers. As the version name suggests, iOS 12.1.1 will not bring major visible changes, but it is an important update to solve some inconveniences on iPhone and iPad. Especially on the new iPhone XS, XS Max, iPhone XR and the new iPad generations.

In the new beta version of iOS 12.1.1 we can observe re-intrusion FaceTime Live Photo. Delayed feature of Apple in iOS 12.0 and tested several times in iOs 12.1 beta versions. Also, the experience in the application was improved FaceTime by bringing the mute and flip camera within reach of users. In iOS 12.0, Apple he had hidden these buttons, and to make them visible users had to swipe across the screen.
Live function Photos has returned, but in order to be used, both devices need to be updated to the latest version of iOS.

The "Effects" button remained but was reduced to fit four buttons. Effects, Mute, Flip Camera, and End Call. Live capture button Photos it is carried above the narrow frame.

FaceTime Live Photos is an optional feature that can be turned on or off from Settings →   FaceTime → Live Photos. For this option to become functional, it is necessary that all participants in the conversation use iOS 12.1.1 or a newer version.

iOS 12.1.1 was released on 01-11-2018 for developers and will be available to the public at the end of this year.
