Apple will present will present the future iOS 17 in the event WWDC 2023, in which we will officially find out which models of iPhone they will not be compatible iOS 17.
Until now, there have been several rumors according to which there will be at least three models of iPhone which will not be compatible with iOS 17.
What models of iPhone they will not be compatible iOS 17
Information coming from several sources, say that this year iPhone X, iPhone 8 si iPhone 8 Plus will not be compatible with iOS 17, but it would not be out of the question to have some surprises, at least in what regards iPhone X.
If we look back a little, we see that last year, iOS 16 was no longer compatible with iPhone 7 and old models, although initially there were rumors according to which neither the models of iPhone 8 will not receive update to the new operating system. However, upon official release, Apple specified that iOS 16 is compatible on all models of iPhone 8, and newer generations.
If these rumors are indeed confirmed, this means that it is very possible that the owners of iPhone X from Europe to not be able to benefit from the feature sideloading. In other words, on iPhone X it will not be possible to install applications from other sources, except from App Store, as it is until now.
On June 5, 2023, in the WWDC 2023 event, Apple will present the new iOS 17. Then we will find out, in addition to the new features, what the models will be iPhone compatible.
