During this year Facebook is preparing a major update for space users European Union. Reintroduction of a biometric functions allowing facial recognition users in pictures and videos. Facebook Face Recognition to have intruded six years ago into an experiment, but the legislation UE regarding privacy and privacy of users has led to the withdrawal of this facial recognition functions.
In the throes of some talk came to one good practice agreement in order for this functionality to be reintroduced for users in the EU.

Face Recognition is currently used by Facebook users outside of the EU and Canada. Those who have this feature can easily identify pictures that appear on the social network, even if they are not labeled in them.
Honestly, this would be more of an advantage than a means of violating privacy. With facial recognition, we can easily identify if another user of the network posts pictures with us. This would remove it more easily identity theft on Facebook si fake items.
Currently there is no way for users in the EU to find out if a person posts pictures with them on Facebook for various purposes. Than he just discovers the random picture on other Facebook pages or accounts.

The biometric function will also try to help people with visual impairments, giving the description of open photos.

In Europe, this feature can be turned on and off at the user's convenience. When it is introduced, users will be asked if they give or not their acrobatics for the biometric function to become active.

Facebook also takes into account the possibility that for the users who have active biometric function, personal pictures are totally protected. Another user will not be able to post a picture of other people on Facebook if they do not agree.
