On earlier versions of OS X, before Mavericks, a capture (screenshot) of the login screen (Login Screen) was a little hard. Requires it remote authentication via SSH, to the Mac on which we wanted to take the screenshot.
New systems, Mavericks, Yosemite si El Capitan allow capturing the login screen through a simple key combination. Keyboard Shortcut.

A picture of your mobile phone a Login Screen it would be a solution, but not one of the best 🙂 The simplest is to use the key combination:
Command ⌘ + Shift ⇧ + 3
After pressing this key combination, a .PNG file will automatically be saved to the Desktop with the Screenshot of the Login Screen.
The file name will be in the form "LWScreenShot" date and time where the screen capture took place. LWScreenShot 2016-04-26 at 11.02.01 AM.png, for example.
