After commemorating Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday on January 15, 1929, one of the most significant leaders in the United States civil rights movement, Apple has launched a new collection of bands and watch faces called Black Unity for Apple Watch.
This new Black Unity collection extends to iOS 17.3 and iPadOS 17.3, introducing new wallpapers featuring abstract representations of flowers.

Black Unity Sport Band Available for Order Now
Apple states that the new floral design of the Black Unity Sport Band for Apple Watch represents Pan-Africanism and symbolizes the harmony of multiple generations working together to address injustices.
The new Black Unity Sport Band can be ordered starting today on Apple.com, priced at $49. This special band is available for 41mm and 45mm watches, in the usual S/M and M/L lengths. Each band is unique due to a special layering process during manufacturing. The band's clasp features the words "Truth, Power, Solidarity" etched into it. This new addition will also be available in Apple retail stores starting January 23.
The new Black Unity Bloom dials and wallpaper for iOS Lock Screen
The new Black Unity Bloom watch faces will be available next week with the launch of watchOS 10.3. Unity Bloom features an abstract floral design, allowing users to choose between a single flower or a multi-flower pattern. Upon wrist raise, the flowers bloom and fill in. This feature is compatible with Apple Watch Series 4 or later.
The Unity Bloom wallpaper for iPhone and iPad also showcases a variety of abstract flowers. When the screen is locked, the wallpaper displays subtle outlines of the flowers, and when the screen wakes up, the background colors emerge.
These new wallpapers will be included in the upcoming iOS 17.3 and iPadOS 17.3 update, scheduled for release next week.
