macOS High Sierra, but also older operating systems for Mac, offer a very complex application for calendar. Developed by Apple for your own devices, the application "Calendar"Allows us to add events, event notifications and to create shared events.
Provides support for display religious celebrations si legal holidays depending on region and religion.

In addition, the application also has several regional settings including:

  • display days of the week starting with "Months"Or"Sunday"
  • display time in format AM/PM or 24 H
  • how many days are a week - 5 or 7
  • calendarand alternatives: Jewish, Chinese si Islamic.

All these settings can be changed in the application Calendar →  Preferences → General.

In the "Accounts" menu of the application Calendar we can add other service providers. "calendar”. For example, we can add Facebook account to be notified by the application CalendarWhen it is birthday of a friend from friends list, or when we are invited to participate in the contest.

It is good to know that the application "Calendar" to macOS can sync very well with iPhone, iPad or iPod touch via your account iCloud. An event added or modified on one of these devices will be automatically changed and what the other event.

I am happy to share my experiences in the field of computers, mobile phones and operating systems, to develop web projects and to bring the most useful tutorials and advice. I like to "play" on the iPhone, MacBook Pro, iPad, AirPort Extreme and on operating systems macOS, iOS, Android and Windows.
