Emojifying is one of the new, funny features introduced in the new version of iOS. Emojifying is a certain option words are replaced / converted into iconite emoji when we send a text message from Messages.

Before you test / use this feature al iOS for Messages, you need to make sure that the "Emoji" keyboard is activated. Do this from "Settings”>“General”>“Keyboard”>“keyboards”>“Add New Keyboard”>“Emoji".

In Messages, when writing a message, after entering the text, select the "emoji" keyboard by holding down the key with the "Globe" symbol (in the lower-left part of the virtual keyboard).

You will notice that after selecting the "Emoji" keyboard some words turn orange.

In our case, the word "cat". Click on this word with your finger and it will turn into an icon. With the cat 🙂

Emojifying is only applicable to certain words. For example: love, pizza, cat, etc.

In a future tutorial I will show you how can you transform words into emoticons in conversations or even in documents.

I am happy to share my experiences in the field of computers, mobile phones and operating systems, to develop web projects and to bring the most useful tutorials and advice. I like to "play" on the iPhone, MacBook Pro, iPad, AirPort Extreme and on operating systems macOS, iOS, Android and Windows.
