Just a few days after what OpenAI launched in the US the official app ChatGPT for iPhone, the number of countries has been expanded.
app ChatGPT for iOS, is now available in the UK, Albania, Croatia, France, Germany, Ireland, Jamaica, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Nigeria, South Korea, Romania and several other European countries.
The release of the official app is a heavy blow to developers who have literally invaded App Store with imitations of ChatGPT, using of course API OpenAI.
OpenAI has not made any official announcement in this regard, but promised that the application will be available very soon in all countries where ChatGPT is allowed,

The official app ChatGPT for iOS comes without ads, subscription or product placement. As in the web version, users can choose their subscription ChatGPT Plus, for the price of $20/month, it's totally optional though.
I tested it ChatGPT to a device iPhone 14 Pro. I can say that it runs extremely well with no interruptions, but just like in the web interface, using thepinfrom the internet connection.
The options in the free version are not very many, but the existing ones are quite practical. Quick access to conversation history with left-to-right swipe from outside the screen, start a new conversation with right-to-left swipe, copy options and select text from conversations.
Another very important feature is the voice dictation of prompts. For this voice dictation option to be active, you will need to give the app ChatGPT access to iPhone microphone.
The iPhone application is a very good alternative to the web version and for iPad tablet owners. Although not fully optimized, the official app ChatGPT it can also be installed on iPad devices.
All you have to do is open it App Store on your iPad and install the app ChatGPT.
