Just a few days after launching the Copilot app on Android devices, Microsoft has also released its AI-powered virtual assistant for iOS and iPadOS. Both versions, Microsoft Copilot for iPhone and Microsoft Copilot for iPad, are now available for download from the App Store.
This app provides access to Microsoft Copilot (previously known as Bing Chat) and operates similarly to the ChatGPT mobile app from OpenAI. In addition to asking questions, drafting emails, and composing texts, you now have the option to create images through integration with the text-to-image generator DALL-E3.
Unlike the free version of ChatGPT running on GPT-3.5, Microsoft Copilot for iPhone allows you to access GPT-4, the latest large language model (LLM) developed by OpenAI, without the need for a subscription.

With the name change from Bing Chat to Copilot, Microsoft seems to be moving towards providing an independent experience similar to ChatGPT. In addition to launching apps for Android and Apple devices, Microsoft has also created a separate web interface for Copilot, distinct from the Bing platform.
