application Wallet can be deleted. Until iOS 16.1, iPhone users had the possibility to delete the application only from Home Screen, but the installation on iOS remained. With iOS 16.1 the application Wallet can be completely removed from the iPhone. Personally, it seems to me the most secure electronic wallet, and with Apple Watch it's going great. I don't see why anyone would want to use a third-party application to store card data and make contactless payments.
iCloud Shared Photo Library. It is one of the main features of iOS 16.1. This allows the sharing with up to 6 members of the Family group of existing photos or of those to be taken. A separate photo gallery is created in which we can determine when to start sharing photos and videos from the application Photos.

This feature by which we activate the percentages in the battery icon is activated from Settings → Battery → Battery Percentage.
Matter support. Matter is a new standard of connectivity between devices and smart components home. It allows compatible accessories to interact with each other without problems, even if they use different platforms.
The update to iOS 16.1 will be available starting October 24, 2022 for all compatible iPhone models.
